Leadership Legacy

Then, in the Leadership Legacy segment on the 87th anniversary of Mother’s Teresa’s arrival into Calcutta, India, Kathryn Spink, the authorized biographer of Mother Teresa of Calcutta, will discuss the qualities that contributed to Mother Teresa’s unparalleled success in her work with “the poorest of the poor.” Ms. Spink was born in a Himalayan hill station and spent her childhood in the British embassies of Bonn and Vienna. She read modern languages at Oxford, then entered the Metropolitan Police and spent three years dealing with crime on the streets of London. Ms. Spink’s contact with Mother Teresa began in 1980 and continued until her death.
